6.1.6 3D Shortcut buttons

The 3D view has several valuable shortcut buttons on the right side of the view. The first button maximizes the window. The second button allows the user to change the positioning of the view via a fly out menu, adjusting the orientation of the patient's anatomy according to the option chosen. The third button allows the user to take advantage of different volume rendering options, setting the rendering type and quality using the contextual menu options or the Volume Rendering panel (accessed from the menu under "Panels"). The "Presets" option opens a selection of different 3D volume rendering presets with different coloring schemes. In "Surfaces" mode, differential surfaces ("CT surfaces") are depicted that are defined in the "Surfaces" panel, accessed from the main menu under "Panels" or by double-clicking in the 3D window. The user can assign a name to each density surface and set threshold values, the color, or the transparency. In the "STL Surfaces" table located on the same panel, users can find created or imported models for which it is possible to set the color, visibility, and transparency. The visibility of STL models, unlike that of CT surfaces, is not affected by the chosen volume rendering mode. The fourth button turns on the visibility of the slices in the 3D window. The fifth button inserts a current snapshot of the 3D window into the "Screenshots" panel.
