27.4.2 Automatic Teeth Annotation
A single tooth correction is possible by clicking on the "Correct Single Tooth" button (1). Click on the scheme to select the tooth (2) and correct the annotation on the jaw model (3). To remove the annotation from the selected tooth, click on "Clear Tooth" button. Is it possible to mark the tooth again by holding the "Shift" key and left clicking on the tooth. To complete the step, click the "Continue with Mandible" button. Note: The proper marking of the teeth is crucial for the subsequent automatic teeth segmentation step. It heavily impacts the precision of the segmentation. Incisors and canines should be marked by clicking/placing two dots on the occlusal edge of each tooth. Molars and premolars should be marked by placing the dots on the buccal side of the tooth surface as indicated in the image above.
Blue Sky Plan allows the user to automatically annotate the teeth. To disable or enable this function go to Tools -> Preferences -> Orthodontics -> Automatic Annotation.

This functionality works exactly the same way as manual annotation. The user is able to switch between manual and automatic annotation for manual modifications of the dots. The thickness of the final stone model, i.e. the minimal allowed height in millimetres, is at least 20 mm and can be increased in Preferences.
