26.2.4 Model aligning

Except for the impression CT with Markers process, it is necessary to align STL model to CT dataset. After importing the model, select if the model is mandible or maxilla. The process of alignment will perform automatically after that. The same function of automatic alignment has the button "Automatic Model Alignment".

It is also possible to align the model manually by clicking the button "Manual Alignment". At least five identical teeth must be marked in the model and in the panoramic image. Points should be placed in exactly the same position in both scans. In the next step you must confirm the alignment or return to the previous step to improve the point setting. For reversing the alignment, click on the button "Undo Alignment".
